Being in Wildwood Crest ourselves for decades, we’re aware of some of the finest dining establishments around. But we wanted the input of both natives and tourists alike. So we compiled a list of known restaurants, chose some of our favorites and looked online for the highest rated restaurants in Wildwood Crest.

Homestyle To Go is one of a kind on our list. Not really a sit-in restaurant (hence the name), but boy oh boy do they deliver fresh restaurant quality food on daily basis.
What makes Homestyle To Go so special is that they create mouth-watering meals – including breakfast, lunch, dinner and, of course, dessert – that you can order, pick up and take home with you.
Perfect for families of all sizes or for a romantic dinner for two, and also great for individual indulgences, Homestyle To Go’s meals are fresh and seasonal, so you’re likely to experience something new every time you go.

6. Littly Italy

Little Italy is what you’d expect from your local Italian restaurant and then some. Everything is fresh – from the house salad (with house made dressing) served with entrees to the spaghetti and meatballs.
Ask anyone who’s familiar with Little Italy and they’ll tell you, the place is almost always busy, which is a tell-all sign of how great this restaurant is. Get there at least 20 minutes before you plan to sit and eat, just in case.
The wait will be well worth it, though, as you will get to enjoy fresh Cape May oysters, hand-crafted Italian classics and, of course, the cannolis.

5. Crest Tavern

Fitzpatrick’s Crest Tavern doubles as a liquor store and souvenir shop, but the main attraction is the food and local craft beers. The service here is nearly unbeatable and the atmosphere is as cozy as it gets.
Sit down for a relaxed meal with friends or family and you’ll be treated to an extensive menu full of classic-with-a-twist bar foods. For those 21 and up, there are twenty-one beers on tap and several more cans and bottles available, too.
Also, if you’re looking for entertainment, the Crest Tavern has tons of TVs so you won’t miss a single play from your favorite sports game.

This upscale eatery sits right on the beach (how about that outdoor seating!?) and serves carefully curated dishes for patrons of all ages.

Sit at a table in the Royal Grille and you’re treated not only to good eats, but an incredible view of the ocean right from your seat.
Breakfast is the fan-favorite here, but they do serve lunch and dinner. Here you can get your classic diner fix while planning your day in beautiful Wildwood Crest, NJ or simply enjoying company over good food.
The restaurant is actually located within the Port Royal Hotel, but you don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to eat here. So go ahead, treat yourself to a wonderful beachside meal at this local favorite.

This was very close – it was hard to choose between the famous Jellyfish Café and the #1 spot on this list. We’d like to say it’s a tie, but we had to have a #1!
Regardless, the Jellyfish Café is a Wildwood Crest classic. This breakfast hotspot is one the island’s favorites. Again, with many restaurants in the area, the customer service is top notch.
Stepping into the Jellyfish Café, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and casual eating spot for breakfast and lunch. It’s hard to find something to not like about this restaurant – everything is as it should be!

What can be said about the Doo Wop Coffee Shop that hasn’t already been said? This red hot destination for pancakes and other breakfast items has been serving the local community great food for years.
Even still, tourists from all over come to get a taste of this Wildwood Crest diner classic. Come to fill up your plate with french toast, eggs and more – trust us, you won’t leave hungry!
The Doo Wop Coffee Shop is a Wildwood Crest staple (and we didn’t even mention their ice cream until now). We encourage all of our guests and anyone who visits the area to stop in at least once to this fantastic restaurant for the best breakfast you’ll have while down the Jersey shore.
