Active vacationers can ride on the free Bike Path through the Wildwoods, which begins at Rambler Avenue, just six blocks south of the Armada By-the-Sea. The path continues along the ocean to the beginning of the famous Wildwood Boardwalk, and then continues after the Boardwalk ends, through North Wildwood.
Cape May County is filled with biking opportunities for all levels. Cyclists pay the same low fare as foot passengers on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry and are able to enjoy bike trails in Delaware.
Be sure to check out the Cold Spring Bike Path, which begins on Sandman Blvd. in North Cape May and continues to the Cape May County Park and Zoo in Cape May Court House.
Bikers who are looking for a challenge should download the map for the 46.4 mile Cape May Shoreline Ride, which begins at the Cape May Point State Park and rides through West Cape May, North Cape May, Cape May Court House, Stone Harbor, the Wildwoods, Cape May City and end back where it began in Cape May Point.
