New Events of the Summer Season in Wildwood to Look Out For

Summertime is in full swing and the Wildwoods have planned fun-filled events for the whole season. 

Here are some new events to look out for this Summer 2022: 

All Summer Long- Downtown Wildwood Fun Friday:

Kick off your Wildwood weekend the right way by joining in the Downtown Wildwood Fun Friday festivities.  Every Friday through August 5th head over to Byrne Plaza, located at 3400 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood, for live bands, food and drink vendors, lawn games, and more!  Downtown Wildwood Fun Friday is a free, family-friendly event, so bring your beach chairs and head out for a good time!  

July 23rd Wildwood’s Inaugural Christmas in July Golf Cart Parade:

If you are one of those people who can’t get enough holiday cheer, this is an event you won’t want to miss. You can easily register your golf cart to be in the parade, and registration is free!  Take out your best holiday decorations and light up the Wildwoods!  If you don’t want to deck out your cart, you can enjoy the festivities as a parade spectator.  The parade takes place on Saturday, July 23rd from 10 am – 12 pm.  The route includes the Boardwalk and Pacific Avenue, with a more specific map becoming available closer to the event.  After enjoying the parade, head right over to Fox Park and get started on your holiday shopping!  There will be a plethora of craft and food vendors to enjoy until 6 pm. Click here to register your golf cart.  Registration is open through 7/18/22. 

August 27th The Beach Boys in Concert- Last Days of Summer Celebration:

What better way to close out the summer than to jive to a group which has been making waves in music for 60 years.  The Beach Boys, an American icon, are surfing into the Wildwoods this summer.  Be sure to catch the boys live in concert inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.  The show starts at 7 pm and is sure to be an evening full of good vibes.  Tickets start at a reasonable $35 and are only available through ticketmaster.com; be sure to get them soon!  Before the concert be sure to hit up other Last Days of Summer Celebration happenings, which include yoga on the beach, a surfing contest, beach games, and DJ music.
