4th of July Fireworks & More in Wildwood, NJ

To experience a one-of-a-kind Fourth of July this year, head down to Wildwood, NJ for a day (or more) of fun in the sun, parades, fireworks, and much more!

Every year, the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority sponsors a free fireworks show on the "sugar sand" beaches in Wildwood, NJ. The fireworks take place at 10:00pm at Pine Street on the beach, but you can get a great view of the show from most anywhere, even from the comfort of your oceanside hotel suite at Armada-by-the-Sea!

In the off-chance there is inclement weather or other factors out of the GWTIDA's control, the fireworks may be delayed or postponed, so be sure to keep up with all the latest updates from WildwoodsNJ.com.

The annual Independence Day Family Parade will take place from 9th and Atlantic Avenues to 1st and Surf Avenues. The parade starts at 9:00am.

Families are encouraged to join in walking the route by calling 609-522-2955 to register. If you are registered, check-in begins around 8:15am at 9th & Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood, NJ.

Prizes are awarded for the best red, white and blue themed bikes, so start decorating if you plan on registering! For those not in the parade, you can line up along the route and watch as patriotic parade-goers pass by. It's fun for the whole family!

Unfortunately, due to extenuating circumstances, the annual Fourth of July Beach 'n Boardwalk Patriotic Run/Walk has been cancelled, but you can still enjoy a nice, long walk on the beach or boardwalk anytime you'd like.

While you're on the boardwalk, be sure to stop by and enjoy the best rides and attractions at Morey's Piers, plus there's great food and, of course, the famous tramcar.

Other activities going on for the Fourth of July include the Patriotic Pooch Parade, a part of the Independence Day Family Parade, the Doo Wop "Back to the '50s" Neon Night tours or the Wildwood Talent Showcase.
